The Global Centre for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) has opened at Sri Sri University (SSU), marking a significant step forward in advancing enterprise risk management education and research in India. Established in collaboration with the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) India Affiliate, the Centre is the first of its kind in East India and aims to advance excellence in enterprise risk management through education, innovation, and thought leadership.
Envisioned as more than an academic facility, the Centre will serve as a strategic knowledge hub for Odisha, fostering research and collaboration on pressing issues such as disaster resilience, financial stability, cybersecurity, climate adaptation, and social safety. By promoting capacity building, entrepreneurship, and policy-focused research, the Centre seeks to contribute to the region’s long-term economic development and sustainable growth.
