The Institute of Risk Management (IRM) - India Affiliate (world’s leading certifying body for Enterprise Risk Management across 140 countries) successfully concluded the Grand Finale of the National GOER – Game of Enterprise Risk® 2025 at the prestigious SDA Bocconi Asia Center, Mumbai. Designed to nurture risk-intelligent leadership among India’s youth, the platform witnessed powerful displays of strategic thinking and problem-solving with participation from over 50 undergraduate and postgraduate institutions nationwide.
After months of intense competition, rigorous evaluation, and risk scenario simulations, the winners of GOER® 2025 were crowned in two categories – undergraduate and postgraduate.
In the undergraduate category, the championship title was awarded to Mahindra University whose performance demonstrated exceptional clarity in risk-based decision-making and ethical leadership. In the postgraduate category, the winning title was awarded to IIM Visakhapatnam who showcased deep enterprise risk insight, collaboration, and foresight across every round. The winners received a cash prize of ?1,00,000, a full scholarship for IRM’s Global Level 1 ERM examination, and national recognition as future risk leaders.
Delivering the keynote address at the closing ceremony was Ms. Kamala Kantharaj, Chief Regulatory Officer of the Bombay Stock Exchange. Ms. Kantharaj remarked: “IRM India’s GOER is a great initiative to prepare young minds at ways and means of anticipating, mitigating risk in a structured manner. The energy of students was commendable and I truly enjoyed being a part of this prestigious platform. Congratulations to the winners in both categories.”
